Luxury Cottages at Tshukudu Bush Lodge
Tshukudu Lodge's six
luxury cottages have lounge areas with open fires, which
open onto balconies with views of the plains and wildlife. They
have African decor with colourful paintings and wall hangings;
the bathrooms have dark wooden decking and sunken baths which
also overlook the plains. Amenities include ceiling fans, minibars,
room safes and hair dryers.
Luxury Suites at Tshukudu Bush Lodge
Tshukudu Lodge now has four new luxury suites. They are larger, lighter and slightly more modern, making them more spacious and sleeker-looking. Each new suite has a heated plunge pool on the deck, private outside showers situated on the deck so you can rinse off after a dip in the pool, and his and hers vanities which are perfect for couples that need a little privacy.
Tshukudu Bush Lodge Activities
The Tshukudu Bush
Lodge runs morning and afternoon game drives with their
experienced field guides. Both give guests a chance to see the
wide range of animals found in the national park, such as elephants,
lions, giraffes, zebras and hippos; special interest trails can
also be arranged.
Wildlife
Lion, elephant, black
and white rhino, buffalo, leopard - Big Five- also cheetah and
wild dog - Magnificent seven.
Giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboon, monkey, hippo, crocodile, and
a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok,
Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and Steenbok are regularly
seen, along with a number of the more elusive or less common animals.
With a bird population of over 250 different species. Bring your
binoculars!
Access
Johannesburg is only 175km, Pretoria
135km, Sun City 10km and Pilanesberg National Park is 15km away.
Tshukudu Bush Lodge is accessable by road.
Child Policy
Unfortunately No children under the age of 12 years are allowed at the Lodge.
Children between the ages of 12 – 18 Years, sharing with 1 or 2 adults will be charged a third person supplement rate on a Fully Inclusive basis.
Communication
For the full Tshukudu bush experience there are no radios, televisions or telephones. Cell phone reception is very limited.
